Will You Let Your Freedom Expire?
I want to be free.
And that right there, is the problem, because to want freedom is to deny its’ existence in this now moment. Freedom always humbly resides exactly where you are. Freedom is like Cinderella’s carriage, it turns into the metaphorical pumpkin the very moment that seeking or wanting or yearning arises.
What if Earth is heaven and we entered the pearly gates upon our arrival at birth. What if heaven is here, patiently waiting for us all to get the memo. It seems that most other living things fully experience their experience without judging it, comparing it, or condemning it. The trees, all content even when their leaves turn brown, the caterpillars don’t skip caterpillaring just to get to be butterflies, the cows aren’t out rioting about the chickens, and the bee’s really got it figured out, just bee-ing.
Earth is heaven. Look around, sunsets and waterfalls, canyons and wildflowers. And get this, a massive sky screen featuring non-stop entertainment, that puts the most spectacular Super Bowl half time show to shame, no offense Shakira.
What is not heaven, is the mind space that we so often choose to experience this heavenly life through. Your internal dialogue will determine your itinerary, which means you are either road trippin’ through heaven or through hell, depending upon who is broadcasting in your head. The commentary flavors the experience to be either sweet or sour.
Let us make this road trip epic. Let us take our time, cruise slow, and be witness to all of the ever changing elements of our divine, heavenly, Mother Earth.
Let’s crank up the music, jam out, and sing along with our brothers and sisters. Let’s hold hands and feel the interlacing of fingers as the unity of you and me and all things free.
Let us LIVE this life, instead of trying to possess this life.
It’s quite ordinary that the word Freedom, when split, offers us timeless wisdom. To be Freed is to live in Om, and Om is our portal to our Source home.
Let us re-Source ourselves every moment of every day, so that freedom becomes not something we search for, it becomes the foundation of who we are.
I am Incredibly grateful that you chose to read this and consider my perspective. The more perspectives we can entertain, the more free we become. To free our minds from anything but love is the journey of the soul. May you be a little more free in each precious moment.
All my love and blessings,
Andrea Dawn
